Phillips Plastics Appoints New President and CEO

Phillips Plastics Corporation has named Matthew J. Jennings as President and CEO, effective April 25, 2011. Jennings assumes this role from Brad Wucherpfennig.

Jennings joins Phillips Plastics, based in Hudson, Wis., with more than 20 years of senior leadership experience, most recently as the president of the North American Medical Division of Teleflex Incorporated, an organization in excess of $500 million in revenue, with 8,000 employees, 12 manufacturing facilities and 2 distribution centers.

Prior to his tenure with Teleflex, Jennings was the president and CEO of Bioenterprise Corporation, a bioscience business formation and acceleration company, jointly founded with the Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve, and University Hospitals Health Systems in Cleveland, Ohio. Earlier in his career, he held numerous leadership positions over a 12-year period with Baxter International and Allegiance Healthcare, in marketing, research and development, international sales, business development and general management operating roles.
